The Town of Redwater has completed the nomination period for the office of Councillor.
At the close of nominations, the number of candidates is equal to the number of available positions. As a result, and subject to the required 24-hour period under the Local Authorities Election Act, no election is expected to be held for this office.
Following the legislated 24-hour period, the Returning Officer will make the official declaration.
Once confirmed, an update will be provided regarding the sworn-in date for the incoming Councillor.
