The Community Services Department strives to offer a wide array of events and programs for the community to participate in.  

Planting Bee

Help Redwater blossom by assisting with the planting of flowers in the Town planters.  Call or email the Community Services Office to register your participation for this day.

Leaders in Training Opportunity This Summer!

Seniors' Week

To get Seniors' Week started, we are asking for Town residents to record short video clips of appreciation (see full details below).  Watch for more information on activities for Seniors' Week (June 6-12) coming up.


Lemonade Day

Kids in grades K-5 can become entrepreneurs with their very own lemonade stand!  Register at lemonadeday.org/northern-alberta.  Contact the Community Services Office about the local "Lemmy U" training date on Tuesday, May 31 from 5:00-7:00pm, and if you are a local youth who would like to participate but needs additional support and/or a mentor.

Spring Flyer

Youth Subsidy 

There is a Youth Subsidy Program available to Redwater residents to support families with children who may not otherwise have access to recreational, cultural and social program opportunities due to financial barriers or extraordinary living situations. Click here for further information.


Families First Society Programming 

The Town of Redwater is pleased to host in-person programming at Pembina Place (4944-53 Street) for Silly Sprouts Play and Dadventures offered through Families First Society and Sturgeon Region Family Resource Network.  If you prefer a virtual platform, online programming is also offered and you can pick up your kits at the Redwater Public Library.  Dates and registration details are found below.
